WSYMCA: Country for a Cause – 2025 Annual Gala, Oct. 25

The West Suburban YMCA (WSYMCA) invites the community to dust off their boots and saddle up for its 2025 Annual Gala: Country for a Cause – An Evening of Western Charm on Saturday, October 25, at 6PM at the Wells Avenue YMCA (135 Wells Avenue).

The Y’s biggest fundraising event of the year, the gala aims to raise $200,000 in support of the Y’s mission-driven programs and financial assistance fund, which ensure that all members of the community — regardless of age, background, or income—can access life-changing opportunities at the Y.

This year’s Country for a Cause celebration promises a lively roundup of entertainment and community spirit, featuring:

  • Live country music by the dynamic band Country Wild Heart
  • Emcee Joyce Kulhawik, Emmy Award-winning journalist
  • Specialty cocktails, raffles, and silent auction
  • Seated dinner by Baker’s Best Catering
  • Dancing for all to enjoy
  • Charity paddle raise, directly supporting youth development, healthy living, and social  responsibility programs for all at the Y

Guests are encouraged to embrace the theme by donning their best western attire — cowboy  boots, denim, and hats welcome.

The Y is proud to recognize the generosity of its 2025 Gala Sponsors. Calare Properties joins as the Gold Sponsor. Boston College, Dedham Savings, M&T Bank, and The Village Bank are Silver Sponsors. Bronze Sponsors include Commodore Builders, Daniel & Jessica Schmitz, Dwell360 Real Estate, Eastern Bank, Lee & Gloria Gavris, Honda Village, Ned &  Gretchen Morse, and William James College.

Tickets are available now, with seating limited for this one-of-a-kind evening of country charm. For ticket and sponsorship details, visit here.
