The New Art Center (61 Washington Park, Newtonville) is currently enrolling children grades 4-12 for their Spring Art as Therapy groups which start in mid-April.
Led by a registered art therapist and art assistant, sessions provide a safe, confidential space for young people to connect, create and share through a range of art modalities.
Designed for students navigating challenges such as anxiety, depression, and other social-emotional stressors, the program integrates mindfulness and strengths-based ego-building art experiences that help participants access, express, and transform feelings into meaningful creative work.
