Aston Magna presents Seeking an Other: Music from Less Expected Places at The Allen Center (35 Webster Street, West Newton), on Thursday, July 30 at 7PM.
Aston Magna, America’s longest-running festival of music on period instruments, now in its 53rd season, brings music from South America, Scotland, China, and more, led by guest director Julia Glenn, with:
- Julia Glenn and Daniel Stepner, baroque violins
- Nathaniel Cox, theorbo and guitar
- Andrew Koutroubas, baroque cello
- Andrus Madsen, harpsichord
