Green Newton hosts Bright Ideas and LEGO® Bricks at Lincoln-Eliot School (150 Jackson Rd, Nonantum), part of the Picnic & Play in the Park series, on Thursday, July 23 from 10:30AM – 12:30PM.
Newton families are invited to a hands-on sustainability activity this summer, part of the City’s Picnic & Play in the Park series. The event is sponsored by Green Newton and Newton Parks, Recreation & Culture.
Families can enjoy Bright Ideas and LEGO® Bricks, where children will use LEGO bricks to design sustainability-inspired creations — solar-powered homes, wind farms, electric vehicles, and future green cities. While young builders bring their ideas to life, parents can learn about clean energy solutions for their homes from Green Newton’s Energy Advocate.
The event is free, family-friendly, and includes a snack.
