This year’s SpringFest will be at the War Memorial Auditorium, Newton City Hall (1000 Commonwealth Avenue, Newton Centre) on Saturday, May 16 from 10AM – 4PM and Sunday, May 17 from 10AM – 6PM. Apply to be an exhibitor/vendor.
SpringFest is a full day of entertainment and a celebration of art for all ages, including live music and dance performances, a community art project, public art walk unveiling of student mural boards for project SHINE, craft/vendor booths, food trucks, carnival with kiddie rides and games, and more!
This year’s theme is America at 250 – Local Stories, Shared Futures – a look at how history, community, and identity connect across time — right here in Newton. Meet the talented youth artists who will bring this theme to life on painted mural boards. Be sure to stop by and add a swash of paint to the community mural painting party led by artist Caoin O’Durgy.
