Valerie & Friends presents Newton Community 2026 Spring Concert on Friday, April 10 from 7 – 8:30PM at the Jackson Walnut Park School (JWP) Student Center (200 Jackson Rd, Nonantum). Proceeds support the JWP Performing Arts Program.
Hosted by a proud JWP alumna and Valerie Luxieo, the concert will feature student musicians, a jazz ensemble, and professional vocalists, with a program including classical music, musical theatre, opera, and jazz.
Luxieo was one of only two singers nationwide to win First Prize at the AFAF International Music Competition Golden Voices of America 2025, and has performed multiple times at Carnegie Hall.
Professional vocalists Yeghishe Manucharyan and Victoria Avetisyan will also be performing.
Yeghishe Manucharyan is an internationally recognized tenor who has performed in numerous opera productions and concerts across Europe and the United States. Victoria Avetisyan is a celebrated soprano known for her performances in opera and classical vocal repertoire.
