On Sunday, March 1 from 5-7PM at 288 Walnut St, Newtonville, Working Towards Change (WTC) is partnering with Boston Children’s Hospital to host a hygiene kit-building event supporting adolescents who are struggling to meet basic needs as a result of recent SNAP benefit cuts. Volunteers will collect donated personal hygiene items and assemble hygiene bags to support young people in our community.
To particpate, go to the sign up page.
For more information, email [email protected].
This event also serves as an opportunity for students interested in ongoing volunteer leadership and community engagement to learn more about WTC and become involved in future service and advocacy initiatives.
Students are encouraged to sign up to participate and/or donate items to make a meaningful difference through this service opportunity.
