Take a Spring Tree Tour through Historic Newton Cemetery & Arboretum (791 Walnut Street, Newton Centre) on a Sunday, May 17 at 10AM.
This winter was one for the record books. Welcome Spring with the Cemetery’s Arborists and a guided tour. See how the plantings in the arboretum, from small shrubs to giant trees faired over the winter and learn what is being done on the grounds to help them thrive!
The tour will take place rain or shine. Comfortable walking shoes, water, a camera, and plenty of questions are recommended. The tour will last approximately 1.5-2 hours starting at the Cemetery’s Chapel parking lot.
