Cooper Center: Gorgeous Gardens of New England Part 2, July 7

The Cooper Center (345 Walnut St, Newtonville) hosts Gorgeous Gardens of New England Part 2 on Tuesday, July 7 from 10:30AM – 11:30AM.

Joanne Pearson returns for a second virtual tour, this time featuring 11 beautiful gardens, six of which were heavily influenced by their owners’ or designers’ travels to Europe, England, and Asia. Attendees will visit a sunken garden at what was the Ridgefield, CT, home of the architect Cass Gilbert, the garden at the House of Seven Gables in Salem, MA, and Rough Point, Doris Duke’s Newport, RI, home. From the creative landscapes of Naumkeag in the Berkshires of MA to the rustic gardens at Maple Hill Gardens in NH, attendees will see beautiful, inspiring landscapes.
