Complementing Fig City’s Community Calendar (for nonprofits’ local programs and events) and Local Government Calendar (for the City’s official meetings for the week), the recently launched Fig City Business Events Calendar displays public events hosted by local businesses.
Initial participating businesses displaying special events include Hummingbird Books, Newtonville Books, and West Newton Cinema.
All calendars are listed under the Calendars menu tab on Fig City News. Instructions on the Business Calendar page explain how readers may subscribe to calendars of specific participating businesses by adding them to their own Google Calendars.
