Newton Community Education is now enrolling for its 5-week Summer Theater Program and Stagehands: Counselor-in-Training (CIT) Program, held at Newton North High School from July 7 to August 8, Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 3:30 PM.
This year’s Summer Theater Program will stage Anastasia, giving young performers the opportunity to build skills in acting, movement, and collaboration while working toward three live performances for family and the community. The program is open to kids and teens of all experience levels.
The Stagehands CIT Program is designed for teens interested in the technical and behind-the-scenes side of theater. Participants gain hands-on experience supporting rehearsals and performances while developing responsibility, teamwork, and leadership skills.
