Eliot Church of Newton (474 Centre St, Newton Corner), an open and affirming United Church of Christ congregation, invites you to their candlelit Christmas Eve service at 7PM on Wednesday, December 24.
Join them for the recounting of Christmas stories, wonderful music from their choir, organ, and piano. Enjoy many of your favorite Christmas carols and hymns, and stay for the end when candles are lit and everyone sings “Silent Night.”
Whether you’re new to church altogether, have been away from church for a while, or would just like to be with others celebrating the spirit of Christmas, you are welcome. In times such as this, Advent-time messages of hope, peace, joy, and love are more important than ever — join them to remember ways to put love in to action, and share fellowship before going back out into the world.
