Newton Holi and International Women’s Day will be celebrated together on Sunday, March 8, 12PM–1PM in the War Memorial at Newton City Hall. Enjoy beautiful cultural performances for Holi, the spring festival of colors, followed by a panel featuring some of the many inspiring Newton women who make our city so special.
After the indoor program, outside there will be Holi color play, this year in the snow, making the colors even more vibrant.
Join Mayor Marc Laredo, local representatives, neighbors, and students from Newton South HS and Newton North HS for this joyful celebration of spring, community, and culture.
Please dress appropriately for outdoor color play following the indoor program. The bright colors against the winter landscape will make for a vivid and memorable experience.
