Learn the basics of hand embroidery at the Cooper Center on Thursdays from 12:30-2:30: March 5, March 12, March 19, March 26, April 2, April 9, April 16, April 30, May 7, May 14 (no class April 23).
Students will learn how to select fabric, needles, and hoops; ways to transfer a pattern onto fabric; a variety of stitches; and how to finish a piece. Projects include: a sampler, a simple potted plant hoop, and a botanical hoop.
