Join the Newton Youth Commission and Advisory Board at the 2026 Newton Civic Spotlight at City Hall (1000 Commonwealth Avenue, Newton Centre) on Tuesday, April 28, from 5–6:30PM.
Part of the City of Newton’s 250th Celebration, the 2026 Newton Civic Spotlight is a free, youth-led event that offers a unique opportunity for middle and high school–aged residents to explore City Hall, learn about their municipal government, connect with community organizations, and speak directly with City departments and elected officials about the issues that matter most to them.
Whether you’re curious about civic leadership, looking to get more involved, or simply want to learn more about your community, all are welcome – bring a friend and join the conversation and enjoy free pizza!
