Historic Newton invites you to Women of Courage and Conviction on Tuesday, June 30 from 7:00 – 8:00 PM at Durant-Kenrick House and Grounds (286 Waverley Ave, Newton Corner).
Join the author of Women of Courage and Conviction, Newton writer Dorothy Anger, along with three of the book’s Newton women, as they share stories of their extraordinary lives. Hear about their journeys growing up in Argentina during the Peron regime, as Jews under Nazi rule, walking for peace in the Vietnam War era, and becoming a global leader in women’s reproductive health.
This program is free for Historic Newton and Newton at Home members; $5 for general admission. Register here.
