Newton Free Library: Nature Walk at the Newton Cemetery & Arboretum, June 24

Newton Free Library invites you to Nature Walk at the Newton Cemetery & Arboretum (791 Walnut St, Newton Centre) on Wednesday, June 24 at 10:30 AM.

Walk the Newton Cemetery & Arboretum’s winding roads with their Staff Arborist to see nature right in the center of the city. This loop walk will include waterways, pollinators, trees, flowers, birds, reptiles, and more. Bring your camera, water, comfortable shoes, and plenty of questions.

Use the main entrance to the Cemetery & Arboretum, and meet at the tent in front of the chapel. There is some parking at the Cemetery & Arboretum, and additional parking at the Library (330 Homer St), as well as nearby street parking. There is a rain date of Thursday, June 25 at 10:30 AM. In case of inclement weather, registrants will be notified via email. Registration is required for this program. Sign up on the Library’s website.
