The Massachusetts Music Teachers Association (MMTA) presents Musical Connections Across Time and Space, a benefit recital supporting its tuition-free Music Connect Program, featuring MMTA Board Members Alison S. Barr, flute, and Lydia Reed-Guertin, piano, at The James Library & Center for the Arts (24 West St, Norwell) on Sunday, September 13 at 3PM.
The recital program features works by Telemann, Saint-Saëns, Lili Boulanger, Luís Costa, Komitas, and David Hamilton.
- Suggested Donation: $25 admits one guest; $50 admits a family.
- Reservations are strongly encouraged; limited seating is available at the door.
- Sponsorships: A donation of $150 admits two guests and includes recognition in the printed program and acknowledgment from the stage. Contact Alison S. Barr at [email protected].

One hundred percent of donations received support MMTA’s Music Connect Program, which provides tuition-free music lessons to students with demonstrated financial need across Massachusetts. Established in 2018, the program has served more than 60 students to date.
