Are you interested in volunteering to help a member of our community learn English? Join the Newton Free Library’s English Language Learning Program! An hour a week (in person or online) can make a real difference in the life of an English learner. Training is provided to new volunteers, and no teaching or foreign language experience is required. It will be followed by training for new volunteers on Wednesday evenings in September and October. You can learn more and apply online.
