The Newton Cultural Council (NCC) seeks input from the Newton community in order to adjust its adjudication criteria for selecting which cultural projects NCC will fund for the following year. Please respond to the survey by July 31. It takes about 5 minutes to complete.
The NCC is a local cultural council of the Massachusetts Cultural Council (MCC), a state agency. The City of Newton believes in the importance of the arts and matches funding provided by the MCC in its local cultural council initiative.
Last year the NCC granted a total of over $50,000 to more than 50 local artists and organizations to support local programming in Newton’s artistic, humanist, and scientific community.
