Boston Makers & Innovators Challenge, Jan. 31 (register by Jan. 23)

The Boston Makers & Innovators Challenge is a free STEM competition to be held at Newton North HS on Saturday, January 31, 10AM-5PM. Registration for the competition closes on January 23. You can also register as a volunteer or buy tickets to the January 31 event. See the schedule for the day.

The Challenge is divided into 4 primary categories, and each competition category has its own submission requirements.

  • NeuroMaker AI Challenge: Use a brain-computer interface (BCI) device to control a robotic arm. Grades K-10
  • Makers Challenge: Focused on hands-on building, mechanical creativity, and testing physical prototypes. Grades K-6
  • Innovators Challenge: Emphasizing conceptual design, digital innovation, and creative problem-solving. Grades K-8
  • Live Challenge: Focused on hands-on, real-time challenges driven by creativity, skills, and teamwork. Open to all (families welcome)
