School Committee is not scheduled to meet this week
John Ward Elementary School Council will meet in person on Tuesday, January 20 at 3:15PM. The agenda includes:
- Follow up on 1/15/26 meeting with superintendent, School Committee, and City Council reps.
- Family Math Morning & Window into Math Instruction for Parents/Guardians
- If Time: 100 Year Celebration:
- Considerations: school day community event & partnering with PTO around an evening/weekend event (and fundraiser??)
- Update on community members who have indicated interest
- Attach response link
- Brainstorm:
- Committees Needed
- Potential Committee Chairpeople
- Connecting with generations
- Timeline– propose “spring 2028” rather than June to provide flexibility— June is often quite packed.
