Celebrate Lunar New Year at the Newton Free Library (330 Homer Street, Newton Centre) on Wednesday, February 11 from 5:30-7:30PM!
This event will welcome the Year of the Horse with an interactive community celebration. Stop by to enjoy performances, crafts, Chinese calligraphy, a photo booth with horse scenery, lantern riddles, strategy chess, and a game of mahjong. The event will include Chinese-style snacks like candied hawthorn, as well as prizes. This celebration is for adults and kids of all ages to celebrating the Year of the Horse.
