Finance Committee will meet in person (Room 211) and virtually (Zoom link) on Monday, March 9 at 7PM. The agenda includes the following items:
- Reappointment of M. Ronald Mendes as City Treasurer/Collector
- Authorization to accept a $113,956 grant from the Massachusetts Department of Environmental Protection’s Electric Incentive Program (MassEVIP), and appropriate $9,290.85 from the Energy Stabilization Fund to install seven electric vehicle charging stations
- Authorization to accept and expend a $50,000 MVP 2.0 grant from the Massachusetts Department of Environmental Protection’s Electric Incentive Program (MassEVIP) in which Newton will convene a project team including community members, complete the MVP 2.0 planning steps, and develop a Seed Project
