Newton Free Library: Indie Lens Pop-Up: “The Tallest Dwarf” Film Screening & Panel Discussion, Mar. 24

The Newton Commission On Disability, Understanding Our Differences, and the Newton Free Library (NFL) present The Tallest Dwarf on Tuesday, March 24 from 6:30-8:15PM at the NFL’s Druker Auditorium (330 Homer Street, Newton Centre). Doors open at 6PM.

Registration is encouraged, and you’ll get a reminder if you sign up. Walk-ins are also welcome.

The Tallest Dwarf follows filmmaker Julie Forrest Wyman as she searches for her place in the little people community and unpacks rumors of dwarfism in her own family. Through intimate stories, creative collaborations, and archival history, the film delves into identity and medicine, asking whether society should change people or the structures that limit them.
