Most of the Cold Spring Loop trail (the “Life Course”) will be closed for critical tree work from 7AM to 3PM, Monday-Friday, August 17-21 and August 24-28.
Also, the Cold Spring Park off-leash dog park will be closed for the day on August 26.
Exception: The trail along the east (aqueduct) side from the Beacon Street entrance to Plymouth Road will remain open during the entire period.
Some sections may be opened early. Changes will be posted at trail entrances from Beacon Street and Plymouth Road and on coldspringpark.org.
The Friends of Cold Spring Park, which is organizing the tree removals, apologizes for the inconvenience.
