Newton Community Farm (303 Nahanton St, Oak Hill) hosts Wild Weed Medicinal Pesto with herbalist Mo Katz-Christy Tuesday, September 8 from 5:30PM – 7:30PM.
Join herbalist Mo Katz-Christy to learn about the medicinal uses of so-called weeds. Baskets in hand, we will walk around the farm collecting a bounty of delicious and nutrient-dense greens that we will make into pesto to enjoy together. We’ll learn how local weeds can soothe a hyperactive immune system, modulate the digestive tract, and regulate blood pressure.
