The Newton Chapter of BranchOut! invites you to Earn the U.S. Congressional Award Through Community Service, an informational workshop on Thursday, June 11 from 6:30 – 7:30 PM at the Newton Free Library Meeting Room (330 Homer St, Newton Centre).
The session will also cover summer engagement and volunteer opportunities at Newton Boys and Girls Club and leadership pathways for middle and high school students.
About BranchOut!
BranchOut! is a youth-led multicultural STEAM education and community outreach organization dedicated to fostering civic engagement, cultural understanding, and youth empowerment through service and STEM initiatives.
Founded in 2015 as a peer-mentoring program serving underserved youth, BranchOut! has grown into a nationwide network of more than 600 volunteers from over 40 high schools across Boston, Virginia, Maryland, Washington DC, New York, California, and Iowa.
BranchOut! has received recognition from numerous national and state leaders, including endorsements from U.S. Senators and Massachusetts Governor Maura Healey, Massachusetts State Auditor Diana DiZoglio, and others.
Students are invited to explore opportunities to:
