From the organizer, Christopher Brooks:

Help me fuel T1D breakthroughs!

I’m fundraising for Breakthrough T1D to transform life for the millions of people facing type 1 diabetes (T1D).

Breakthrough T1D is the leading global T1D research and advocacy organization, helping make everyday life with T1D better while driving toward cures. But they can’t do it without our support.

With my fundraising goal set, I’m counting on your help to get me there. No donation is too small, and every dollar truly makes a difference.

I grew up in the Boston area, I’ve always loved car culture-especially high-end exotics. Over the years, attending meets and running my small Turo car rental business has only fueled that passion even more. Now, I want to take that passion and turn it into something bigger: “Cars for Diabetes” – A Charity meet and greet.

I was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes when I was 6 years old. It’s been a life long journey full of challenges but I’ve done my best to live fully and keep pushing forward. Today, at 26, I want to give back and shine a light on a disease that affects more than 40 million people in the U.S. But here’s the thing – I can’t do it alone. I’m reaching out to you to help make this happen.

The goal is to host an epic meet and greet and raise funds for Breakthrough T1D. Diabetes doesn’t always get the spotlight it deserves, but with your help we can change that – even if it’s just one car at a time!

Thank you for your support!

What is type 1 diabetes (T1D):

T1D is a chronic autoimmune condition in which the pancreas stops producing insulin, an essential hormone that helps the body turn food into energy. It places a profound human, emotional, and financial burden on those who live with it and their families. Right now, there is no cure.
