Celebrate our country’s flag on Flag Day, Sunday, June 14 at 11AM at the American Legion Post (295 California Street, Nonantum).
The Newton-Brookline Elks 1327 will be doing the Flag Day presentation followed by the Post 440 Flag Retirement Ceremony with a remembrance of your veteran. Sign up to honor your special veteran at the post tent at 10:30AM.
This is a very moving ceremony for loved ones to retire a flag in honor of a veteran (living or deceased). Your veteran’s name will be announced as you present his or her flag to be retired. Flags will be provided.
Refreshments served after the ceremony in the Post 440 lounge.
