New Art Center (61 Washington Park, Newtonville) invites you to Queer Figure Drawing on Wednesday, June 17 from 6:30PM – 9:30PM.
Enjoy a welcoming evening of figure drawing celebrating queer and diverse bodies and populations. Two models will pose for a series of short and longer poses, offering participants the opportunity to explore gesture, form, and expression through live drawing.
Light guidance & instruction throughout the evening can be offered for those who would like it. Artists of all experience levels are welcome. Participants are encouraged to bring their own sketchbook and drawing materials, though a selection of supplies will also be available to experiment with.
Funded in part by Spark Newton as part of the Linda Plaut Festival of the Arts, in collaboration with the City of Newton.
This is a drop-in program with a registration cost of $15.
