The City will host a one-day preview of this seasons Newton Farmers’ Markets on Saturday, June 13, 9:30AM-12:30PM on Union Street in Newton Centre, by the Newton Centre T station. It will feature more than 25 vendors offering farm-fresh produce, local seafood, baked goods, cheeses, specialty foods, and family-friendly activities.
Union Street will be closed to vehicular traffic during the event, while nearby shops and restaurants remain open. Many will offer special promotions throughout the day.
Newton’s weekly Farmers’ Markets will start the season on:
- Tuesday, June 25 (1:30PM-6PM) at Cold Spring Park (1200 Beacon Street) and
- Saturday, June 20 (9:30AM-12:30PM) at Newton North High School (350 Lowell Avenue).
