Rock Voices, Newton’s only community rock choir, presents Music from the Movies! at Newton South High School (140 Brandeis Rd, Newton Centre) on Sunday, August 9 at 4PM.
Add an extra fun vibe to the summer with an evening of fantastic music by Rock Voices, Newton’s only community rock choir! The 100+ singers and a professional live band will perform music from some favorite movies, featuring songs by Peter Gabriel, HUNTRIX, Simon & Garfunkel, ABBA, Phil Collins, Bee Gees, Carly Simon, John Travolta & Olivia Newton-John, Kenny Loggins, Adele, Paul McCartney, and more!

In keeping with Rock Voices’ mission of “healing ourselves and others through song,” a gift basket raffle at the concert will benefit OUT MetroWest, an organization that serves LGBTQ+ youth and their families with youth programming, community events, and outreach in 35 towns in the Boston MetroWest area.
Tickets ($20, $15, $10) are available at the door and online.
Rock Voices represents everything that is wonderful about Newton: a sense of community, a love of music, and a desire to share that joy with others. Attendees are invited to bring all this energy to the concert! Singing along is encouraged!
