Diet plays a crucial role in managing chronic diseases by influencing key factors such as inflammation, blood sugar levels, weight, and overall health. Good nutrition can help prevent or alleviate some symptoms of conditions like diabetes, heart disease, obesity, and hypertension. The seminar will focus on making healthy choices and provide tools to help make smart swaps to help manage chronic conditions. This program is presented by Jane Barr, MPH, LDN of MGB Newton Wellesley Hospital’s Community Collaborative Heart Health and Wellness Council.
