Cooper Center: The Mind-Body Connection with Nature: Science, Sharing, and Walking-the-Talk, Jun. 9

The Cooper Center (345 Walnut St, Newtonville) presents The Mind-Body Connection with Nature: Science, Sharing, and Walking-the-Talk on Tuesday, June 9 from 10:30AM – 12:00PM.

Join Stefanie Haug for a conversational, hands-on exploration of the mind–body connection with nature: why it’s innately a part of us and how we can weave it into our daily lives.

Stefanie will discuss the science behind why connecting with nature helps us feel calmer, clearer, and more resilient, and translate that research into real-life experiences. You’ll be guided through simple demonstrations, sensory practices, and show-and-tell moments that reveal how our nervous system responds to natural elements—even indoors!

Share reflections, exchange ideas, and explore the many ways nature already shows up in our lives, often without us noticing.
